 hampion wicket-keeper and batsman, known as Iron Gloves, born in Perth, W.A. on Remembrance Day, the 11th of November, 1947. possibly 4th novemberUntil recently he was Australia's most successful Test wicket-keeper. In his illustrious career he had 355 dismissals, 343 catches, 12 stumpings and 3 centuries in his 97 Tests. At time of writing he was head coach at the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy.  |
