Australian wicketkeeper born Arthur Grout in Brisbane on March 30th, 1927.

Wally made his debut for Queensland as wicketkeeper in the 1946-47 season and first played for Oz in 1957-58.

Grout played 51 Tests, taking 163 catches and 24 stumpings.

Wally Grout died young in 1968.
