Popular entertainer, especially in the '60s when he led the Joy Boys.

Col was born in Sydney on 13th April, 1939.

In 1990 he went into a coma after falling from a tree whilst gardening. Luckily he made a full recovery.

Col's brother is promoter Kevin Jacobsen who brought out the Bee Gees to Stadium Australia in March, 1999.
