 rtist, named Pro - short for professor, born in Broken Hill, NSW on May 30th, 1928.First coming to the attention of art entrepreneur Kym Bonython, Hart was the first Australian to exhibit in Israel, of all places, and his works hang in important collections around the world, including the White House.
Youngsters may remember the television ad where Pro paints a picture on a carpet using spaghetti, cream and jelly etc. and leaves the cleaner to restore the carpet to what it was saying 'oh, Mr. Hart!'
