 allipoli veteran who passed away on 24th February, 1999, aged 101.
Len served in the 10th Light Horse Regiment. There are now only 4 Gallipoli veterans left alive. See the page on Gallipoli to understand what Len went through and what we should ensure the likes of never happens again. Sadly, Francis Walter Isaacs, one of the above 4, passed away, aged 102, on April 6th, 1999. A Western Australian, he signed up to fight at 19.  |
